I was standing in the little entry way to what is now the Up and Out Dance Studio.....

A new kid walked in the gym the other day and said he wanted to be a part of the boxing team.....

Weight lifting has been a great tool tool for me to use to introduce many to the greatest weightlifter.....

At the Up and Out ranch, many children have come to learn about the outdoors and about horses.....

The greatest commandment is to Love the Lord our God with all of our hearts, our minds, our souls, and our strengths.  Up and Out has one goal: To lead the hearts, the minds, the souls, and the strengths of all who are involved into a relationship with the Lord our God so that these hearts can be full, the minds pure, the souls made strong, and the strengths directed!

Our Mission:

Lend a Hand, Up And Out!
I love these kids.  I love their energy, their openness.  I see so many that are overerlooked or left behind.  All they want is some attention; some time; for someone to look at them and feel their muscles. The beauty of Up and Out is in its simplicity.  Programs have their place and events are good from time to time but leaning against a heavy bag with a needy two year old sitting on your shoulders with his chin resting on your head is time spent of the highest quality.  To some it may not appear to be much.  In the same way the disciples viewed time that the Lord Jesus spent with kids as wasted time.  But He knew better than anyone that time spent with children was refreshing to Him and necessary for the kids. I woke up this morning thanking God for the place He has provided where kids are not only welcome, they are the focus.  I thanked Him for a place that was so simple and so fun that it drew the kids in.  I thanked Him for a small but faithful group of supporters that see and understand the beauty and the simplicity of Up and Out.
